Collection of Plates with Antlers (2007)

Textured made out of clay memories of Agata’s childhood. Visits to a family friend’s house that was full of animal sculls, antlers and horns.
The ceramic glazes are textured and tactile, with skin/leather like qualities. Mostly made to hang on the wall.

‘My parents friend was a forest keeper and a hunter. The house was full of smells of leather and dogs. Living in England and being far from home evoke memories of places where I spent the best summers of my childhood. ’
